More squawking

The Perch Jerkers Contest had a good turn out. Well over 200 came out to fish. Only 2 perch were caught so one young man went home with a big smile on his face. Everyone said it was a beautiful day to be outside. Thanks to all who made this such a success.

The driveway was a little muddy when I went out this evening to change the sign at the Community Center. The water was quite deep by the sign. It was almost to the ankles, boy it sure is cold. Do you think spring is coming or will it hit us with some more nasty snow?

Don't forget to come out for the Chili Meal at the Community Center on March 19, serving from 5p to 7p. This is put on by St. Catherine Ladies and Centennial Lutheran Ladies and the proceeds go to Water for Life. Come have a great meal and good conversation with your friends and neighbors.

It sounds like a few people from over the Dora Lake Area are heading to the cities on Thursday to watch the Bigfork Girls Basketball Team play at state. Wishing the girls team the best.

Have a great week. Enjoy the sunshine while it lasts. Hard to believe that March is half over. Boy the time seems to fly as I get older.

Julie
