Squaw Lake Selected to Receive IRRB Business Grant

The Iron Range Resources Board voted last week to approve an $8,000 grant to the City of Squaw Lake for a revolving loan fund. The fund, matched with $4,000 from the city, will provide $12,000 to be passed through to businesses as loans for building expansion or rehabilitation. The interest rate on the loans cannot exceed 3%.
