It's not too late for fathers, grandfathers, uncles and other male care givers of young children to attend FRED tonight at 5:30 at Northome School.
FRED=Fathers Reading Every Day - This is a fun filled program for dads and their children from birth to age 5, and their older siblings. The one hour program starts with a meal of sloppy joes provided by the Northome PTO, followed by guest readers and a short presentation on early literacy skills. Each family will receive a copy of the book "What Daddies do Best" and each child will be able to choose 2 new books to take home. No registration required, free, and you do not have to have children attending Northome School to participate.
FRED is sponsored by: The Eagleview Community Foundation, Minnesota Humanities Center, Greater Itasca County Project Read, and the Northome PTO.
